Drawings are reviewed upon release by production management personnel at the shop to ensure capability to manufacture.
All materials receiving for manufacturing are inspected on receipt at site for quality and accuracy based upon order.
Throughout the manufacturing process, production management and operations engineering personnel oversee the production process, inspecting fabrication for proper fit-up, welding and paint coverage.
Production management notifies the project manager when completed items are to be available for inspection.
Innovative design or project management personnel inspect fabricated items prior to shipment to the jobsite. Only upon their approval is the item shipped.
- All items are inspected for fabrication integrity, including visual inspection of welds (along with a certified welding inspector) and all other shop connections.
- All items are inspected for dimensional accuracy, including overall dimensions, bolt-hole locations and mating flange dimensions.
- All items are inspected for finish appearance, including visual inspection of surface and paint coverage.
